Assets Library

The Assets Library allows you to host images and documents within iPost that you can refer to in your emails.

Most HTML mailings contain images and may include links to external files. To ensure recipients can access these assets, they must be hosted on a server that is accessible over the Internet. If you do not have a suitable server or want to avoid the impact of serving file requests, you can host your mailing assets in iPost instead.

The Assets Library can be accessed from the Content Creation menu.

The default maximum image upload size is 292 KB. Other file types must be 1 MB or smaller in size. Contact iPost Client Services if you need the maximum file sizes increased.

Supported File Types:

  • .gif
  • .jpeg/.jpg
  • .png
  • .pdf
  • .doc/.docx
  • .CSS
  • .woff
  • .woff2
  • .ttf
  • .svg
  • .eot

Uploading Files

To upload assets, you may drag and drop your files from your computer to the Drag your files here box or click Browse Files to search for the files hosted on your computer.

Once your file has been uploaded, copy the image link to use in Paste HTML emails or drag and drop an Image content block into your email creative and click Browse to select the image.

For better compatibility, avoid using spaces in file names because some email clients may not display images with spaces in their names correctly.

Properties

Once your file has been uploaded to the Assets Library you can access the properties details by clicking on the hyperlinked file name.
