Dynamic Content
This feature allows you to dynamically change entire sections of content within your email in order to make it more relevant and appealing to subscribers.
Dynamic content displays different email content based on rules you define using a contact’s list membership, data table values, or email behavior. By tailoring messages to each contact’s attributes and actions, you can deliver more relevant content and increase the likelihood of clicks.
Creating Dynamic Content
Before you begin, you must create Snippets to display based on the dynamic content rules.
- On the left-side menu, hover over the Email folder, open the Content section, and select Dynamic Content.
- Enter the name of your dynamic content in the Create New Dynamic Content field.
- Click Create to move to the Properties step.
- On the Properties page, you may add an optional Description and select a Folder Location.
- Click Continue to move to the Dynamic Content Editor.
- From the Attributes panel on the left side, select the demographics field(s) and/or behavioral data to create your dynamic filter. If Custom Data Tables are enabled in your account, attributes in any of these tables can also be included.
- Drag and drop each field from the Attributes panel into the dynamic content editor and define the dynamic rule.
- Each rule should also be configured with a snippet for the Display Content. To select a snippet, click in the Select a location... field and choose a snippet.
- Click Select Default Content to choose the snippet that appears if a contact's information does not match any of the dynamic content rules.
- Click Add Rule to attach additional rules.
- Click Save when you have finished creating your dynamic content rules.

| Membership | Allows you to filter on if a contact exists in a specific list. |
| Other | Allows you to filter on Domains. |
Custom Data Tables
Selecting Custom Data Tables allows you to select one or more custom data tables to be used in the dynamic content criteria.
