Test Emails

Before scheduling your email, send it to test lists, a test data table or individual email addresses to preview what recipients will see.

Sending a Test Email

  1. In the email creative, click Continue until you reach the Preview step; this will validate the email's content and set its status to "Active". 
  2. Click Test Mailing to assign your test audience and configure any optional fields. Please note, only one type of audience can be included at a time.

    1.  Test List(s) - only "Test" type lists with a maximum of 20 contacts can be selected.

    2. Email Addresses - contacts must be present in All Contacts with a status of globally opted in.
    3. Test Sendable Data Table(s) - on data tables configured for "Sending" and "Testing" with a maximum of 20 contacts can be selected.
  3. Click Test Email.

Spam Check

Spam Check is a tool that scans your email and calculates a SpamAssassin score. SpamAssassin is a widely-used mail filter designed to identify spam by testing several email components. Message with higher scores (especially greater than 5) are more likely to be routed into junk/bulk mail folders.
